Dynamixx Limited is dedicated to protecting the privacy of our users by taking every reasonable and sensible measure to protect their personally identifiable information. This privacy statement outlines these measures.
What is Personally Identifiable Information?
"Personally identifiable information" is information about you, such as name, address, e-mail address, user ID, credit card number, social security number, and so on.
Data Security
This website takes every precaution to protect our users’ information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected online and offline. When our online forms asks users to enter sensitive information (such as postal address or job information), that information is not held on our public web server: it is transmitted to a back-end database where it secured and accessible only to a few authorised Registrants/Subscribers of our staff.
Within our offices, only employees who need the access to customer information to perform their job duties are granted access to personally identifiable information. Our employees must lock their workstations when they leave their desk. The database(s) holding this information are not accessible on public networks.
This site does not currently use a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) connection (‘https’, symbolised by the padlock symbol in your browser) as it does not handle highly sensitive data such as credit card numbers or very detailed user information such as CVs or medical data.
Information Collection and Use
dynamixx Ltd and its sister company E2D are the sole users of the information collected on this site. We will not release any personably identifying information unless you specifically authorise us to do so or unless required by the appropriate law enforcement officials.
Registration
In order to use our services, a user must first complete one of the subscription or registration forms. During registration a user is required to give their contact information (such as name and email address). This information is used to contact the user about the services on our site for which they have expressed interest. Demographic information collected is used for our internal market analysis purposes (see below).
Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Once the user closes their browser, the cookie simply terminates. If a user rejects the cookie, they may still use our site. The only drawback to this is that the user may be limited in some areas of our site.
Data Logging
We use IP addresses to analyse trends, administer the site, track user's movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.
Sharing Demographic Information
We will share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person. All data which could identify an individual, including specific IP addreses, is stripped from this information.
Customer Communications
We send all new Registrants/Subscribers a welcoming email to verify their email address and confirm their interest. Established Registrants/Subscribers will occasionally receive information on events, services, news, special offers, and a newsletter via email or letter mail as part of our customer communications. In addition, we also send the user site and service announcement updates.
Correction and Updating Personal Information
If a user's personally identifiable information changes (such as address information), it may be updated by emailing us at any time.
Verifying Our Information
Your may request a listing of the information we hold about you at any time. We will require you to verify your identity and we will levy a small administration charge for this service.
Notification of Changes to this Policy
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post a link to those changes on our Home Page at www.dynamixx-e2d.com so that our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify users by way of an email. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.
